The chair lift ride was smooth and the view at the top was beautiful. The Alpine Slide was a lot of fun. The slide on the right seemed faster.
Too bad that I didn't learn to ski sooner in my life, bcuz I know for a fact that I would have been at Big Mountain as often as possible since we only lived about 20 miles away from it back then. This summertime chairlift ride was outstanding, and if I were still able to ski I would definitely want to go back and try out Big Mountain Ski Resort!!! It appears to be on par with the resorts that I went to when I was stationed over in Deutschland in the early 80s!! Unfortunately, bcuz of my back problems, I will likely never be able to go skiing again...
The Big Mountain lift was a great surprise. Our son and his wife took us there. We went to the top of the mountain and the view was incredible. It cold and windy but we all loved it.
Fast quad chair lift. Beautiful views. There were two grizzly cubs and lots of deer. Lots of hiking trails and mountain bike trails. Little bar and restaurant at the top.
A bit pricy ($32 round trip in June) but the views were decent enough.
Beautiful scenery polite staff very clean area. Was able to see so much and enjoy some peace and quiet slide was fun as well
What a great way to visit the mountain. Take a chair lift or gondala to the too, enjoy the amazing views, and then come back down. Some even bring their bikes up with then and bike down. Worth the trip!
My 1st time riding up and down the mountain. So fun. Beautiful views. Enjoyed very much and I would definitely recommend putting this on your itinerary, visiting Montana
